2. What is included in a standard videography package?

Each package includes a specific number of shoot days, professional editing, color grading, and high-resolution video files. Some packages include interview segments, sound design, and custom music.

3. How far in advance should I book a session?

We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons.

4. Do you offer rush delivery?

Yes, expedited delivery is available for an additional fee. The standard turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, while expedited projects can be delivered within 1-2 weeks depending on scope.

5. Can I request specific shots or styles?

Absolutely! Before each shoot, we discuss your goals and preferred style. While we maintain creative control for cinematic quality, we welcome specific requests.

6. Do you offer multi-day coverage?

Yes, we have packages for single-day, 3-day, and 7+ day shoots, including options for extended adventures and brand retainer services.

7. Do you work with both individuals and companies?

Yes! We work with individual adventurers, outdoor brands, and outfitters to create unique, high-quality content.

8. Can you work with outfitters to offer media services as an add-on?

Yes, we have an Outfitter Partnership Program, allowing outfitters to include professional videography and photography as an optional service for their clients.

9. What type of equipment do you use?

We use professional-grade cameras, drones, stabilizers, and audio recording gear to ensure high-quality results.

10. What happens if the weather is bad on the shoot day?

For safety reasons, we may need to reschedule due to extreme weather conditions. If rescheduling is not possible, alternative solutions will be discussed.

11. Do I own the footage you create?

Scenic Drifters LLC retains copyright ownership, but you receive personal or commercial usage rights based on your package.

12. How do I book a session?

You can schedule a meeting on our calendar through the booking section on our website, where we will discuss your project and finalize details.

Contract & Agreement Questions

1. Why do I need to sign a contract?

Contracts protect both you and Scenic Drifters LLC by outlining expectations, deliverables, payment terms, and legal protections.

2. What happens if I cancel my booking?

If you cancel more than 14 days in advance, you forfeit your deposit. If you cancel within 14 days of the shoot, the full balance is due.

3. Can I reschedule my session?

Yes, rescheduling is allowed with at least 7 days' notice. If you reschedule within 7 days, a rescheduling fee applies.

4. What is included in the Media Usage Agreement?

This agreement outlines how you can use the photos/videos, whether for personal or commercial purposes, and any restrictions on resale or modifications.

5. Do I need to sign a Model Release Agreement?

If your footage is used for marketing, you must sign a Model Release Agreement allowing us to showcase your content in our portfolio.

6. What does the Location & Permit Agreement cover?

If filming occurs on private land or regulated areas, a permit or landowner consent may be required. Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary approvals.

7. What if I want exclusive rights to my footage?

An Exclusive Media License can be purchased to ensure your content is not used in other projects or portfolios.

8. What is covered under the Liability Waiver?

The Liability Waiver acknowledges that outdoor filming carries risks (terrain, wildlife, weather) and releases Scenic Drifters LLC from responsibility for injuries.

9. What happens if I accidentally damage your equipment?

If you handle our equipment and damage occurs, you are responsible for repair or replacement costs as outlined in the Release of Liability for Equipment Damage.

10. Can I request changes after the final delivery?

Each package includes two revision rounds. Additional revisions can be requested for a $100 per revision cycle.

11. What happens if I need additional footage later?

If you require new footage after the original session, a new booking must be made. We do not retain unedited raw footage indefinitely.

12. How is dispute resolution handled?

All disputes are first attempted to be resolved through mediation. If necessary, legal proceedings will be handled in Indiana or Michigan courts.
